01Introduction

These terms govern the use of the official website of Dr. Mojtaba Hedayat Yaghoubi, Associate Professor at Alborz University of Medical Sciences and specialist in infectious and tropical diseases.

The website provides general information about the doctor and the areas of care, educational content and online booking. By using it, you accept these terms as far as they relate to your use of the service.

02Using the website

Use the website lawfully, reasonably and for its intended purpose. Using it to disrupt, abuse, cause damage or gain unauthorised access to information or systems is not allowed.

03Accuracy of the information you enter

You are responsible for entering correct, up-to-date information when you sign in or book. If incorrect information causes a problem identifying or managing an appointment, it will be reviewed and corrected based on the correct information.

04Your account and verification codes

You sign in to your patient account — to book or to write a review — with a one-time SMS code (OTP). The code is temporary; do not share it with anyone.

Each mobile number is linked to one patient account. After you sign in, the account stays signed in on that device for up to 30 days; on shared devices, sign out when you are done.

You are responsible for the use of your account and codes, unless a problem is caused by a fault in the system.

05Private and management areas

A patient account gives access only to that patient’s own information and appointments. The staff area is only for the doctor, the receptionist and others authorised by the practice.

Any attempt to access the staff area, other users’ information or unauthorised areas, or to bypass security controls, is prohibited.

06Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed:

• Trying to access other users’ accounts or the staff area without authorisation
• Trying to bypass security or access controls
• Tampering with, damaging or deliberately disrupting the system
• Making fake bookings or abusing the booking process
• Using tools or methods that put unusual load on, or disrupt, the service
• Accessing, extracting, changing or using other users’ information without permission

Suspicious activity may lead to access being restricted to protect the system and its users, and may be pursued through legal channels.

07Online booking

Online booking is governed by the Appointment Policy. An appointment exists once the booking process completes successfully; it is then confirmed immediately and shown in your patient account.

08Writing a review

To write a review, sign in with your mobile number and enter your first name, last name and national ID. Each review has a 1 to 5 star rating and a text.

Reviews are not published immediately: every review is checked by the practice first. Once approved, it is shown with your first name and last initial (e.g. “Sara M.”), rating and text. Your full last name, mobile number and national ID are never shown.

Your review must reflect your own experience. Reviews containing any of the following are not published, or may later be removed:

• Medical information or details of an illness
• Other people’s personal information
• Insults, accusations or inappropriate content
• Advertising or unrelated links
• Fake reviews, or reviews written on someone else’s behalf

Published reviews reflect their authors’ personal views and are not medical advice.

09Educational and medical content

Educational and medical content on the website is provided for general awareness and does not replace examination, diagnosis, prescription or medical advice for your situation. Decisions about diagnosis or treatment should be made with a doctor’s assessment.

If you need urgent medical care, do not rely on the website or online booking — use emergency medical services.

10Ownership of content

This website and everything in it — including its name, design, structure, text, images and software — belongs to Dr. Mojtaba Hedayat Yaghoubi, and its use is subject to Iranian law. Content may not be copied, republished, modified or used commercially without the doctor’s permission.

This does not claim ownership of content whose rights belong to others — including research articles published in journals, which are only introduced and linked to their original source.

11Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but maintenance, updates, network or messaging-service outages and other circumstances beyond our control may temporarily limit access. We will work to restore normal service as soon as possible.

12Limitation of liability

Because some technical and communication factors are outside the website’s direct control, uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. This does not exclude any legal responsibility that cannot be waived, or any rights the law gives users.

13Third-party services and links

Third-party services and links on the website, such as Google Maps or Instagram, are also subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

14Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the website’s features, processes or legal requirements change. The new version is published on this page; the date of the last update is shown in the website footer. Continuing to use the service after a new version is published means, as far as the law allows, using it under the updated terms.

15Governing law

Use of this website and the interpretation of these terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Disputes not resolved directly will be handled by the competent courts of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
